Keynote speaker talks of coming out
Knoll Larkin was raised as a woman, but throughout childhood had "an over-itchy feeling" that he was different. The 29-year-old told his personal story Monday in Anspach Hall Room 161 about coming out as a transgender. His speech was the first of five events put on by the Gay-Straight Alliance and The Office of Gay and Lesbian Programs to spread awareness during Transgender Week.
